Well, I will be for sure.  Haven't really mentioned it on the forums, but I've been able to play in the beta for it.  It is a very small taste of the game though.  I still feel nervous that there is a lack of customization like there was with diablo 2.  Everything else in the game seems great though.

Pretty sure that John and Michelle both planned on getting it as well.

unfortunately for me, not having played previous games, the only Deckard Cain I have heard was the impression by Scott Johnson. So I am hearing Scott instead of the Deckard character.

It's fair, most of what you remember of deckard cain is the stuff people repeat.  him talking about horadric cubes, and the fmous line "stay a while and listen"

finally installing my pre-release download. The first one was broken. Hopefully I can run this thing.

Is anyone going out tonight for a midnight release? My local BB is open for Diablo and Max Payne. I could take my laptop out there, tether for internet, and start playing in front of people. But I am getting too old, and would rather sleep, especially since I already have the game in hand.

edit: tried to launch the program, and it criticized my graphics card driver. This happened before with WoW.
edit: huh. after four years there is a driver update. Going to restart and see what happens.
edit: better now. Launched program and got to try to sign in. Watched the first cinematic and pre-emptively dumbed down some video settings.

Not doing any midnight launches, I preordered the digital version, and just plan on playing when it opens up at midnight on until morning.  Probably going to be doing a wizard or barbarian first.

no midnight launch for me. i ordered the collector's edition and won't get it until i get off of work tomorrow. so i have to sit at work thinking about playing starting at 6 am. yeah that day sounds like it's going to fly by  Roll Eyes

ok, I expected login server congestion, and I did get as far as hero creation. Still, kind of a pain that a single player game will not run. The real money AH is not even live yet. Stupid.
