[January 30, 2015, 09:55:44 PM] CoastalMichelle: it was fun back in the day with 2 people who played... but just john... not playing. NO WAY tiger

[January 30, 2015, 08:45:16 PM] TigerClaw: they no longer have a full editorial or video content staff.

[January 30, 2015, 08:44:46 PM] TigerClaw: actually hold on, They arent shutting down

[January 30, 2015, 08:44:00 PM] TigerClaw: It looks like Game Front is shutting down too. http://www.gamefront.com/a-farewell-to-the-front/

[January 30, 2015, 07:52:31 PM] TigerClaw: CoastalMichelle This is your chance to bring back Warcraft Outsiders, Built a site that will be the #1 go to place for WoW news, Since WoWinsider is closing.

[January 30, 2015, 03:14:14 PM] CoastalMichelle: But yeah I thini Joystiq and wow insider have gone to shit

[January 30, 2015, 03:13:37 PM] CoastalMichelle: Apparently the sites were popular but aol wanted to reallocate money. Massively claimed to be up 40 percent, when they got budget cut for half

[January 30, 2015, 03:02:12 PM] Sworen: still sucks that a lot of people lost their jobs though

[January 30, 2015, 02:58:17 PM] Sworen: well maybe the WoW stuff could be restructured, but joystiq at this point was a shell of it's former self

[January 30, 2015, 02:57:18 PM] Sworen: I dunno, if anything it's a sign that sites like these can't support themselves, at least not with the amount of people they had hired.

[January 30, 2015, 02:52:15 PM] CoastalMichelle: Joystiq, wow insider, massively, shutting down... Someone needs to capitalize and make a new site

[January 30, 2015, 04:31:42 AM] Tedakin: here we go. michael myers, subzero, kratos, jack bauer, jack burton, daryl dixon, john rambo and ivan drago.... the BA team http://instagram.com/p/yeOOnWO-8A/?modal=true

Topic: Blizzard sells tradeable pet  (Read 796 times)

This was mildly controversial when announced, and now it is up for sale at the Blizzard store. In theory you can pay money for these then sell them in-game for gold. By commutation this implies you can buy gold legitimately, as long as there are buyers who would like a special pet but do not want to (or can't) pay real currency.

I wonder how the in-game market will handle these. I expect a lot to appear initially and at ridiculous prices, but after a while simmer down to only 100g a pop.

Looks like pet this is character-bound for 24 hours before it can be traded.

Does else anyone remember Blizz banning users for pet or mount trading during Wrath?

I sisn't see any posted earlier yesterday, but this blogger says she saw 9500-20,000g pricing. This doesn't mean that they sold for that much, but I wonder if I don't get in on this that I am missing out on something. I think my horde toons are just feeling poor because I recently made another Mechanohog.
